Hello, I'm Ost316. I noticed that you recently removed content from Eskiarab without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Muhammad ibn Musa al-Khwarizmi. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Wario-Man talk 11:42, 3 March 2021 (UTC)

Hello. I wanted to let you know that in your recent contributions to Boʻrbaliq, you seemed to act as if you were the owner of the page. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to Wikipedia. This means that editors do not own articles, including ones they create, and should respect the work of their fellow contributors. If you create or edit an article, remember that others are free to change its content. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. I took a quick look at your recent edits after the message that you placed and removed from my talk page. You may be having a content dispute on Boʻrbaliq and Eskiarab. Please remember to be civil and assume good faith when stating your concerns. If you are unable to find resolution discussing the issue with other editors directly or Talk:Boʻrbaliq/Talk:Eskiarab, then you may want to visit WP:WikiProject Uzbekistan for assistance. Do not change my article !! Do you understand! You don't have enough info for this article! Symon777 (talk) 17:50, 16 February 2022 (UTC)
- I copied your post on my talk page above. As Ost316 already explained above, you don't own the articles about Boʻrbaliq and Eskiarab, and neither do I. It's through co-operation with other contributors that we improve the quality of Wikipedia. Using all caps and bolding, like you did on Talk:Eskiarab, is considered WP:SHOUTING, and doesn't make your arguments more valid. You don't know me, so how can you know how much info I have about these places? That said, I'm happy to discuss the disputed topics with you and other interested editors. Some of the disputed topics, and my point of view about them:
- Town or urban-type settlement: the decree you quote (also available here) says "городских поселков", which translates as "urban settlements". I think that means the same as the Soviet-era term "urban-type settlement".
- What does "southest west" mean? From the location of Eskiarab within the district I would say southern or southwestern part.
- The flag and emblem in the infobox should be the flag and emblem of that place, not of the country or larger subdivision that place is part of.
- The reference you gave for Dusti Hudo in the Boʻrbaliq article (yandex.uz) is broken (and there's a warning about phishing on it), that's why I removed it and replaced it with another one, which you removed. The original version of that encyclopedia article is here, see page 141. They spell it "Дўсти Худо", or Doʻsti Xudo. Note that for the settlement, they use both Бурбалиқ (Burbaliq, on page 141) and Бўрбалиқ (Boʻrbaliq, on page 140).
- There are rules about what belongs in a "See also" section, see MOS:SEEALSO. Quote: "As a general rule, the "See also" section should not repeat links that appear in the article's body.". That's why I removed the links to Fergana Region and Oltiariq District. Markussep Talk 08:50, 17 February 2022 (UTC)
