External links to sites that aren't very "Web"
editFor example chemicalland21's page for this chemical compound has NO hyperlinks or other evidence. It's as if you want to a page in a glossy magazine published in 1977 - the fonts are nice, but there is no hint that there is a world wide web.
Are there alternatives site that have similar details, but are able to link to other sites? Wikip rhyre (talk) 22:23, 30 June 2009 (UTC)
Logical error in the synthetic chemical equations
editA section states: "Often the hexafluorosilicic acid, which is recovered from phosphate mining, is the precursor in a two-step process beginning with neutralization with ammonia to give ammonium hexafluorosilicate:"
This is, however, not supported by the equations, as we magically jump to hexafluoroaluminic acid, without dealing with the formation of any ammonium hexafluorosilicate, at all. It seems to me that a 'zeroeth' step involves the reaction between aluminum oxide and hexafluorosilicic acid, without the formation of ammonium hexafluorosilicate. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Perklorsav (talk • contribs) 17:24, 25 April 2022 (UTC)
