Sterling Rope is an American company producing ropes for sports, such as climbing, mountaineering or caving, based in Biddeford, Maine in the United States. It was founded in 1992 by Carolyn Brodsky and her husband Willie Crear[1]. Sterling Rope products are distributed internationally, but are produced entirely in the United States.
Manufacturing
editSterling Rope mainly manufactures ropes for vertical sports such as mountaineering, climbing and caving. They also make rope for first aid, guides or work at height. In addition to rope, they produce carabiners, pulleys and belay systems.
