The Cobleskill Richmondville High School was built in 1998 and has two floors. Both floors are mixes of core and encore classes. The school houses grades 9-12. The principal of this school is Melissa Ausfield.

Cobleskill and Richmondville were separate school districts until sometime after 1985 or so. During the 1982-83 school year at Cobleskill High School we had to hide everywhere to smoke pot. We hid in the bushes at the bottom of the hill, in the staircase near the auditorium balcony, in the bathrooms, outside the District office, on Settler's Mountain, in the cemetery, behind Teen Town, in the parks and anywhere else we could. Today, 01/01/2014, I'm standing in Colorado and the potheads win. Marijuana is legal in Colorado and Washington. The Class of 1983 says, "Bite Me".
