::::So essentially you are disagreeing with my proposal because my image isn't very good? I'm just suggesting a search bar like the one at Yahoo. It's infinitely better than what we have now. Anything is infinitely better than what we have now. It's in literally the worse possible place it could be. It needs to be changed. (Also, the yahoo one is about 4 times longer and 1.5 times higher than our search box not including the border, at least in 1440x900)--Patton123 (talk) 20:18, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
:::::Your proposal is "Something like this picture" - So, yeah, if I don't like how the image looks then I don't really have any other options. Yahoo is a search engine. The search box is their main business, so they give it prime placement. That really shouldn't be our model, and there's definitely no reason to make it any higher than it is now. Why do we need large font in the search box? Mr.Z-man 20:36, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
::::::Twitter search box. It's much too big for wikipedia, but we need placement somewhat similar to that. If you don't like how my picture looks you can say how you would like it. It's not "accept this porposal word for word no matter how tiny the changes you'd like to make are, or reject it". You agree it needs to change at least?--Patton123 (talk) 20:54, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
:Gotta say, I'll get used to all the other changes, but the location of that search bar is abysmal. I have no idea how anyone thought that was good placement. Resolute 18:32, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
