Many say that the proprietary anti-mosquito type sprays are not much use in fighting off midges, and alternative deterrents such as Avon Skin So Soft bath oil (applied as per instructions on pack) or Marmite (eaten daily, it seems to act as a systemic deterrent) being favoured by some.
