Leah graduated with Honors from [[Brown University]] in [[2001]], with a Bachelor's degree in [[Art]]-[[Semiotics]]. She was immediately accepted into [[New York University]], where she is currently pursuing a Master's in Film.
 
While at NYU, Leah directed '''''[[Twitch (film)]]''''', a short film portraying a young girl's irrational fear that her mother's disability is contagious.
 
''Twitch'' kicked off the film festival circuit by winning a Grand Jury Prize at [[Slamdance]] and becoming a finalist in the [[Student Academy Awards]]. It has since screened at over 100 film festivals, won a dozen awards, and is currently airing on the [[Independent Film Channel]].
 
After completing ''Twitch'', Leah went on to direct several music videos, including '''''Team Queen''''' and '''''Eternal Flame'''''.
