Lesley Anne Quinn
As Lead Organiser for WordCamp Dublin 2019, Lesley works alongside a co-organising team and team volunteers. The team is made up of volunteers who either live, work or have a long connection with Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Lesley is Web Design and Digital Marketeer at SenSys Technology & Killeen Engineering, in Co. Meath, Ireland. She recently completed a Masters in Design Innovation at Maynooth University.
In 2016, she first became interested in WordPress and began attending Meetups in Dublin. Finding the community to be very welcoming, she heard the call for volunteers at WordCamp Dublin and put her name down. She was hooked and has not looked back since. She subsequently became an co-organiser for WordCamp Belfast in 2018 and now Dublin in 2019, where she is leading on marketing content for the event and recruitment.
Moving to Dublin aged 12, Lesley went to secondary school in Raheny, Dublin 5. Her first job was in Howth County Dublin followed by 15 years in Dublin City. She is delighted to be able to help bring another WordCamp to the island of Ireland and to share with attendees the delights of her home city.

Martin Kilarski
Martin is a front-end developer, performance and technical SEO geek.
He is passionate about creating amazing experience for humans and search engine bots on the web.
Martin wasn’t born in Ireland, but he has spent almost a third of his life on this amazing green island called Ireland.
He was part of the team behind the WordCamp Dublin 2017 and WordCamp Belfast 2018.

Colm Troy
Colm has been building web stuff since the web was a wee lad.
He first started using WordPress in 2006 and immediately got hooked on hooks and filters. Initially using WordPress as a simple solution to blogging on hobby sites, Colm led the adoption of WordPress as the preferred Content publishing platform for a busy Dublin based web agency with hundreds of WordPress implementations.
Today, Colm is Co-Founder of Create & Code and CommerceGurus.
Colm was co-organiser of WordCamp Dublin 2017, the WordCamp Belfast 2018 team and this year back in Dublin. When not deep in hooks and filters you will find him running around a mountain or making pizza.

Mark Smallman
Mark has been working with WordPress since 2009, building on a career in photography and print design.
He creates WordPress powered websites for companies and corporations of all sizes. His speciality is creating custom themes and sites to suit clients’ needs.
When Mark started out with WordPress, he was living in Scotland where he attended a few of the Meetups in Edinburgh. After returning to his native Northern Ireland in 2013, he found there was no existing WordPress Meetup there. So, he set about creating the WPBelfast Meetup group.
His enthusiasm for being part of and developing the WordPress Community led him to become the Lead Organiser for the inaugural WCBelfast 2016, a Co-organiser for WCDublin 2017 and Lead Organiser for WCBelfast 2018. Without his commitment and dedication, these events and this year’s in Dublin simply wouldn’t have been possible. He has also volunteered at other WordCamps including as a photographer for WordCamp Europe, and supported tasks on Make WordPress Marketing and WordPress.tv too. Abha Thakor
Abha works as a communicator and project manager in traditional, web and digital media. As a research journalist, her specialism includes digital tools, AI and participation. She trains and speaks on these topics to managers, public bodies, charities and the tech world.
She believes the WordPress community has a vital role in sharing learning and sustaining innovation. Abha was a Co-organiser for WordCamp Europe 2019, London 2018 and 2019. She has led Contributor events and marketing tables in different locations, and has an endless energy for encouraging digital participation.
With her background in events and from her volunteer role in Dublin 2017, she was asked to become a Co-organiser and lead on strategic communications for WordCamp Belfast 2018. As it was the only camp to take place on WordPress’ 15th anniversary, it wanted to build awareness of both the beautiful city and the platform into the wider community. She is a contributor to the WordPress Marketing, WordPress.tv and Community Teams, and Communications Lead for WordPress Translation Day 4.
For Dublin 2019, she is providing support to the team with learnings from bigger WordCamps and MakeWordPress teams to help develop and sustain a local community. The team is also contributing to a number of documents for sharing with the wider global community to help other events. Abha is providing professional development support too and with Mark and Marcin, working on assistance to new contributors.

Fellyph Cintra
Fellyph started his career with web development in 2006. He is Brazilian and is now based in Dublin working for Deloitte Digital. His specialities are working with front-end, HTML, CSS and Javascript. This year, he became a Google Developer Expert with a focus on web technologies.
His journey with WordPress started in 2008, doing what he enjoys doing the most within the platform, creating themes. In 2010, he created the first WordPress course in São Paulo at the technical school DRC. For six years he worked for digital agencies, mostly working with WordPress. He then began working with companies with responsibility to administrate the ‘blogosfera’ a WordPress multisite with more than 40 blogs.
For three years he was a volunteer and organiser of WordCamp São Paulo. He has spoken in more than 10 WordCamps on front-end technologies. In 2019, he volunteered for WordCamp Europe and joined the Dublin organising team.

Miro Faltinek
This is Miro’s first WordCamp as an organiser. He has been working with Mark on creating the 2019 Dublin wapuu.
He started a small web and graphic design studio ‘JustBode Productions’, based on the Kerry and Cork border. He works with small business owners helping them with their online and offline presence. He is originally from Slovakia and has been living in Ireland since 2004. He said: “Once I discovered WordPress.org in 2016, there was no way back!”
His previous involvement with the WordPress community was through specialised Facebook groups. It was through this that he discovered the community in Ireland and how to get more involved. He is excited about discovering how he can get further involved with Make WordPress at the Contributor Session and helping at the conference on Saturday and Sunday.

Julie Sebode
Julie joined WordPress Dublin Meetup group right at its start in 2011. She joins the WordCamp Dublin 2019 team to lead on volunteers and is supporting the work on content and speakers.
She is the owner and trainer at WordPress Training Ireland since 2010. She enjoys teaching people the ‘easy and user friendly’ side of WordPress. She runs group courses and customised training for individuals and groups of staff. Her clients range from charities and self employed individuals to financial services providers, schools and colleges, county councils and large organisations such as KPMG (one of the four largest auditors in the world), Fineos (software development company with offices in North America, Europe and Australia) and the Houses of the Oireachtas (The Irish Parliament).
Julie also works for the Convention Centre in Dublin as part of Events operations, and her experience has been invaluable in organising this WordCamp. She is an open source enthusiast.
However, one of her passions is organising international fight events for Medieval Armoured Combat Ireland with fighters from all over Europe and the USA at a castle in rural Ireland. Julie has lived in Europe, Asia and Australia. If you speak Thai and would like a chat, please let her know.
Her two cats, both rescues from a animal welfare organisation in Wexford, will be popping up in the WordPress and Pets on Instagram stories about contributors to the project. Their names are Bumble (because she’s just a bumble) and Meau Si Khao (that’s Thai for ‘White Cat’)

Dr Grace Fox
Dr Grace Fox is an Assistant Professor in Digital Business at DCU Business School. She has previously worked as a Postdoctoral researcher at the Irish Centre for Cloud Computing and Commerce (IC4) in DCU and in University College Cork (UCC) at the Health Information Systems Research Centre (HISRC). Dr Fox holds a PhD in Management Information Systems from Dublin City University.
Dr Pierangelo Rosati
Dr Pierangelo Rosati is an Assistant Professor in Business Analytics at DCU Business School and Director of Industry Engagement at the Irish Institute of Digital Business. He previously worked as Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Irish Centre for Cloud Computing and Commerce (IC4).
Team Volunteers
We also would like to give a big thanks to our team volunteers who have joined at particular periods to help promote this event. Fatima Badmos is working away with our social media members and set up our Instagram account. Cristi Lupchian is making strides on design and swag. They are looking forward to welcoming everyone at the event.
Thanks to David, Emma, Raluca, Carmel and Stella who have joined on specific tasks and new to contributing to the WordPress community. Thanks to Diego who was on the team and part of the local Meetup before moving. We hope to encourage them to get more involved in the fabulous WordPress community in Ireland and further afield in the future.
