Begone! (くたばれ! Kutabare!)[4] is an Energy Wave used by Raditz. It is one of Raditz's most powerful attacks.

Overview[]

Raditz raises his hand up in the air and creates a small blue and white energy sphere. Then, he fires it at his opponent in the form of a large energy wave, inflicting a great amount of damage.

Usage[]

Raditz attempts to use this attack against Piccolo when they first meet but stops when his scouter finds Goku's power level.[5] Raditz later is about to use the attack again against Piccolo but is interrupted by Goku grabbing his tail.[6]

Variations[]

Video Game Appearances[]

The technique is called Full Power Energy Wave in Dragon Ball Z: Kyōshū! Saiyan, Dragon Ball Z: Super Saiya Densetsu, and Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi (where it is one of his Blast 2 attacks).

The technique was named Begone! in Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3, where it appears as Raditz's Ultimate Blast. The technique appears under the same name in the Raging Blast series and Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi.

In most games that Raditz can use the move in, he usually says "I'll kill you quickly!".

Trivia[]

  • In the Ocean Group dubs, when Raditz is about to use it on Piccolo (the first time they meet), he tells him "Keep your eye on the birdie." However, in the Funimation dub, Raditz calls the technique "Double Sunday"; which is the name given to the two-handed version of this attack in video games.
