Fuura (フウラ, Fūra) is a character in Dragon Quest X.
An Elf maiden who is the only daughter of the lord of the wind town of Azlan. She is one of the party members in the Offline version of the game.
In battle, her choice of weapons consists of Fans, Staves, and Heavy wands. She is capable of both casting spells and calling upon the powers of nature, possessing qualities of both a Sage and a Druid.
Appearance and Character[edit]
Fuura is a young maiden of the Elf race, having light lavender-colored skin, long pointed ears, purple eyes, and a small pair of insect-like wings on her back. She has blonde hair with a fringe and a shoulder-length ponytail tied back with a pink hair bow. Her outfit consists of a light purple kimono top with long, flowing sleeves attached with cords, a pleated indigo hakama skirt secured with a pink obi sash around her waist, and black leather boots.
She is studying hard to become a scholar, but is expected to carry on her village's tradition of "wind riding", which brings new winds to the town. Fuura also has something of a childish side, carrying around a stuffed doll of a cake deity that reminds her of her late mother. She is loved by the kamushika, a deer-like creature said to be the incarnation of the wind. Although Fuura has a cheerful and bright personality that she demonstrates to the Hero, she acts rebelliously towards her father.
