Singular controls in control problems for distributed-parameter systems

Abstract

The paper gives an overview of necessary optimality conditions for singular controls and second-order necessary optimality conditions for certain classes of optimal control problems described by equations of mathematical physics, two-dimensional integral equations, and discrete two-parameter systems.
