La hessiana e i suoi problemi

Si espongono, in sintesi, gli sviluppi degli studi sulla hessiana di una ipersuperficie algebrica dello spazio ad dimensioni, con particolare riferimento al caso piano (d = 2), e si indicano vari problemi risolti e non risolti che riguardano l’argomento.

Abstract

This lecture shows synthetically the developments of the researches on the Hessian of an algebraic hypersurface ofd dimensions, with a particular view of the plane case (d = 2), and points out several solved and unsolved problems on this subject.
