DIE returns for its final arc in May. Here’s the full press-release, but the main bit...

KIERON GILLEN & STEPHANIE HANS' BESTSELLING SERIES DIE BEGINS COUNTDOWN TO SINISTER FINALE
PORTLAND, Ore. 2.18.2021 — Bestselling series Die by Kieron Gillen and Stephanie Hans will kick off its final story arc—ominously titled “Bleed”—beginning with Die #16 out from Image Comics this May. The highly anticipated conclusion for the series will be revealed in Die #20. To go into the dark, you have to get to the dark. They never put a dungeon anywhere accessible, do they? Past sins haunt our party, and future sins permeate the landscape. Die’s closing arc begins as we began: with regrets and screaming. Die has consistently held a seat as one of the top selling Image Comics series with multiple sell-outs at the distributor level and regular reorder activity that’s skyrocketed with each new installment’s release. Perhaps best described as Jumanji with goth sensibilities, the series has stolen headlines since its launch for ushering in a new trend in RPG themed storytelling. “The concluding arc is always bittersweet,” said Gillen. “Sad that the adventure is coming to the end, but the wicked glee of finally being able to reveal all the bleak secrets we've been keeping.” Die #16 Cover A by Hans (Diamond Code MAR210062) and Die #16 Cover B by Alberto Varanda (Diamond Code MAR210063) will be available at comic book shops on Wednesday, May 5. Die #16 will also be available for purchase across many digital platforms, including Amazon Kindle, Apple Books, comiXology, and Google Play.

Coo!

Excited to be back, excited to have Alberto join us for a second cover and excited to bring this home. The plan was always to do 20 issues of this, as the counting numbers on the back cover should have implied, so wrapping up our adventures for now is a whole lot of fun. At least, for a DIE level of fun, anyway.

In the world of Die, the players are now real players. Countries are their pieces, and the board threatens to run red with blood. Who is the Queen, and who are pawns? Who's playing to win? Who's forgotten what they're playing for? And what will they do when they're reminded of the real stakes? The critically acclaimed dark fantasy smash hit goes epic in its third volume.

Image Solicits for May are out including the return of…

DIE #11
WRITER: Kieron Gillen ARTIST / COVER A: Stephanie Hans COVER B: Ben Oliver
MAY 06 / 32 pages / FC/ M / $3.99
“THE GREAT GAME,” Part One Half the party is ruling a whole empire. The other half is on the run. Neither has it easy. There is nothing easy in this game, especially when the stakes get shockingly real. The most epic arc of DIE begins as it means to go on: messily.

And the second issue of the Ludorampage…

THE LUDOCRATS #2 (OF 5)
WRITER: Jim Rossignol, Kieron Gillen ARTIST: Jeff Stokely, Tamra Bonvillain COVER A: Jeff Stokely
MAY 06 / 32 pages / FC/ M / $3.99
How could we follow the startling first issue of LUDOCRATS? With issue two. Sometimes it doesn’t pay to overthink these things. Herein, stuff of a ludicrous and oft entertaining character happens.

IT CANNOT BE CONTAINED.
