Gracie’s 🐕 Mini Garden on Instagram: "A moment of calm 🌧️ and a mini update on the pond 🪷 🐟 After a few weeks of observing the mini pond and thinking about what vector control said, I decided against fish. As much as I would love to watch little rice fish in here, I don’t want them to be subject to predators. Both the vector control guy (for mosquito fish) and the fish supply store guy (for rice fish) said the container pond may be too shallow to protect them from birds overhead or raccoons. I just don’t want to chance them being eaten even with more plant coverage and hiding spots. 🦟 So far the little birds have been curious and we’ve had a few dragonflies visit. I think I’ll let this be a wildlife pond for anything that wants to come by and make it its home 🐸 … with the exception Mosquito Fish, Container Pond, Wildlife Pond, Mini Pond, Fish Pond Gardens, Belfast Sink, Fish Supplies, Hiding Spots, Small Ponds
