Low carbs/Keto/Palao
I’m low carbing to support weight loss. I’m a double/triple carb monster so it seemed like a good plan. So far so good, however I’ve been missing noodles and rice not so much for the carb properties but the texture and look of my meals. I’d heard about Naked noodles but never felt the need to try before. That changed today, while shopping I came face to face with them and bonus they were on offer.
Fast forward to the lunch I’ve just greedily slurped through.
Chicken and prawn stir fry with loads of veggies and NAKED Noodles. Not really a recipe but this is what I put together
Fresh garlic and ginger sliced
2 spring onions cut on a fancy bias just because......
Yellow pepper cut into thin strips
Blanched green beans
Baby spinach
Cooked chicken
Handful of frozen prawns defrosted
A splash or pinch of the following
Soy sauce
Siracha
Some red chilli
Chilli flakes
Shaoshing rice wine
Water
Naked noodles
Easy method
Fry garlic ginger peppers and onions in a drop of olive oil stir for a couple of mins then add the sauce ingredients followed by the prawns, beans and spinach finally add the sliced roast chicken and the Naked Noodles heat through for a couple of mins, tip into your favourite bowl grab some chopsticks and dive in .....
OMG delicious and the Naked noodles hit the spot. This is going to be a new favourite especially for work lunches, next I’m going to try the Naked Rice with Thai green chicken curry, I’ll post when I’ve done it but am expecting great results
