- In DC Comics, the League of Assassins is an ancient organization founded and led by Ra's Al Ghul, and enemies of Batman and Green Arrow.
- Deathstroke, Black Canary, and Cassandra Cain were members of the League of Assassins.
- The emblem used was actually made for Halo, which is unrelated to DC Comics, but was used on a fan page to represent Ra's. Apparently Manganiello and/or his costume designer didn't realize the difference when pushing to make the connection, but the intention remains.
