- Jon Stewart's cameo was cut from the theatrical version of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and is only present in the Ultimate Edition. This was reportedly due to the unfortunate timing of Stewart departing The Daily Show in August 2015, prior to the film's release. This was only made possible by the film's release date being pushed back from July 2015 to March 2016, as it wouldn't have been an issue had the prior release date been retained.[2][3]
