The Invisibles #4 is an issue of the series The Invisibles (Volume 1) with a cover date of December, 1994.

Synopsis for "Down and Out in Heaven and Hell, Part Three"

Dane and Mad Tom steal a car and go play frisbee in a park to enjoy one another's company one last time before jumping off a skyscraper; Tom has taught him all he can and now it's time for him to go. As they jump, Dane ends up sliding down a hill in a pasture and see a vision of a big red dot that he almost reaches out to touch before running away. He finds a small version of Jupiter in another part of the field and comes across a room where The Invisibles are waiting for him to take his place as a member and rename himself Jack Frost.

Now that Tom is dead, the group reveals that they have been manipulating Dane's decisions since King Mob freed him from Harmony House,[1] giving him handouts[2] but also terrorizing him.[3] King Mob explains that there is no blue mold and that Tom wasn't getting Dane high from smoking it: his visions were all glimpses of true reality.

Ragged Robin gets a psychic vision that agents from the Archons of the Outer Church are coming and King Mob tells Dane that he has 30 seconds to decide his future. They all run away and the armored troops enter seconds later to find a hand grenade with no pin in it.

Elsewhere, Mad Tom mutters lines from King Lear and walks into the darkness.
