Synopsis for "All Good Things Must End"

A young married couple are enjoying their honeymoon at the Bahamas, when all of sudden, the water at the beach they are at begins boiling at extreme temperatures, killing them.

Meanwhile, a mysterious event has happened in Smallville. All its inhabitants have inexplicably fallen into a coma. Senator Samuel Lane and his friend Colonel Marla are on the site investigating until Superman arrives. Superman cannot detect any anomaly in their DNA, aside from the fact they are in a coma. Senator Lane tells him about a mysterious series of crop circles and Superman deduces the symbols spell the Kryptonian word for "Doom."

Superman detects someone hiding underneath a nearby farm. He digs to the ground but begins to feel poisoned by Kryptonite radiation emitted by the Eradicator of Krypton. The Eradicator explains each planet gives birth to its own Eradicator, a living embodiment of entropy, as a way to herald its natural death. However, this Eradicator survived Krypton's destruction. Feeling he has lost his purpose, the Eradicator has come to warn Superman that Earth will die, not by natural causes, it will be murdered. Although Superman believes the Eradicator is talking about Doomsday, the Eradicator says Superman will be Earth's destroyer. After conveying his warning, the Eradicator throws Superman into outer space.

As Superman regains his strength, he returns to Smallvile only to discover the Eradicator has already left. Using his Justice League communicator, Superman talks with Cyborg and asks him to pass information to the rest of the Justice League and do him a favor.

Meanwhile, at the Daily Planet, reporters have already received news about the events at Smallville. At the same time, Lois has been brainwashed into a servant of the Collector of Worlds.

Later, at the Fortress of Solitude, Clark gives a message to Cat, saying he is sick and will not be able to come to work for a while. At the same time, the citizens of Kandor have awakened from their coma and begin banging against the the glass container the city is encased in.

Superman then gets a message from Cyborg, who tells him an island in the Bahamas has been destroyed.
