Synopsis for "The Day the Cheering Stopped!"
In the wake of Creation, a material object was formed that, over the ages, took the shape of a sword with a stylized "S" symbol on its hilt, and became known throughout the universe as the Sword of Superman, ages before Superman ever came to be.
Now, in 1984, King Kosmos has possessed the body of industrialist Oswald Mandias and is turning the world against Superman. The only thing that can help Superman triumph is the power of that sword.
