Robin (Volume 2) #67 is an issue of the series Robin (Volume 2) with a cover date of August, 1999.

Synopsis for "Way Dark"

Robin and Nightwing are summoned by Batman to get return to Gotham City and help him retake the city. They use parts of the old Gotham aqueduct and sewer system to get into the city without being noticed by the security forces around it.

Meanwhile, Gearhead and Tommy Mangles form an unlikely alliance in the Gotham sewers and they are taking advantage of any refugee, scaring them off and stealing their supplies. Some rats are attracted by the noises they make and food they dropped. One of the rats goes back to Ratchatcher and the man knows that his little friend has discovered something.

As Robin and Nightwing approach the exit, Mangles and Gearhead notice their presence and attack them. Robin manages to fight them both and Nightwing knocks them to the waters below. Then they use an exit tunnel to reach the surface and meet with their allies.
