A mummy is a corpse whose skin and organs have been preserved by either intentional or incidental exposure to chemicals, extreme coldness (ice mummies), very low humidity, or lack of air when bodies are submerged in bogs.
History
The most commonly thought of mummies are those from Ancient Egypt that were wrapped in bandages. Mummies are also known to be Undead creatures that come back to life and may have various powers at their touch, or from their bandages, or otherwise magical or supernatural in nature.

- Mummy Rot: A disease contracted from the touch of an undead mummy. This disease sickens and curses you until you eventually die and turn to dust.
