Synopsis for "Rise of the Underworld, Part 3 of 4"
Raven and the male Titans travel to Hell to find Neron's contract with Blockbuster for Olivia's soul; while Starfire, Donna Troy and Batgirl take Olivia to Themyscira. Meanwhile, Blaze leads an army to challenge Neron, as the other lords of Hell see him as weak for his failure to claim Olivia's soul. Neron effortlessly defeats her, but realises others will follow and decides to travel to Earth personally to capture Olivia. Nightwing and the others find Blaze unconscious on the battlefield and revive her. She agrees to lead them to Neron's fortress, as if they beat him he will be weakened further. They infiltrate the tower and retrieve the contract. Nightwing hoped that he could prove the contract is invalid if Olivia's mother did not sign it, and possibly reunite them; but he discovers that Olvia's mother was Jezebel Jet, who is dead. He has another idea to save Olivia and says they need to return to Earth so he can speak with Melinda.
Neron heads to the Grinning Man's cell on Iron Heights and learns where Olivia is. A full-scale assault of demons on Themsycira would draw the wrath of the Olympians, so he must still act through mortal agents. The next day on Themyscira, the heroines are training Olivia to fight. Wonder Woman arrives and offers to spar with her, but to the other's shock she kicks Olivia will her full strength. They are attacked telepathically and the island begins to shake. "Wonder Woman" reveals that "she" is actually the Grinning Man, accompanied by Gorilla Grodd and Doctor Polaris.
At Bludhaven Town Hall, the Titans receive a distress call from Batgirl. The others Boom Tube to Themyscira while Nightwing fills out some paperwork. As soon as they are gone, Neron appears in front of him. Nightwing tells Neron that he has been declared Olivia's legal guardian, and as he did not sign Neron's contract it is null. Neron offers to give him superpowers in exchange for Olivia's soul.

Synopsis for "Nightwing & Superman in: Night at the Circus, Part 3"
Nightwing accuses Casey, the mother of the trapeze artist pair, of cutting her own rope, but she strenuously denies it and they each realise she is telling the truth. Nightwing deduces that her son, Daniel, cut the rope and confronts him. Daniel tells Nightwing that he meant to cut his own rope, planning to fall and land on the safety net. He tells Nightwing that he doesn't like being in the circus and wants a normal life, and was trying to fake a near-fatal accident so his mother would decide trapeze was too dangerous and quit. Casey tells Daniel she is sorry for forcing trapeze on him and promises things will change.
Nightwing realises that the accident wasn't a lure, and that they weren't the targets of the bomb attack.
