Bonfire is a Black Canary villain with pyrokinetic powers. Her Prime Earth counterpart is the guitarist of Bo M, a rival band to Black Canary's band. The character was remodeled in the DC Zoom one shot Black Canary: Ignite. Ida Vogel was a metahuman foe of both Black Canaries, Dinah Drake and her daughter Dinah Lance. After she was released from jail, she became the principal of Gotham City Junior High, until she was defeated by Black Canary once more.

Another character called "Bonfire" is Anne Fletcher, a member of the Young Heroes.

Bonfire was created by Joey Cavalieri and Jerome Moore, first appearing in the Milestone Media publication Detective Comics #553 (1985).
