Synopsis for Wonder Woman: "Wanted by Hitler, Dead or Alive"

Diana Prince was being interviewed by Rora Blank from the Daily Tab, who asked her about her "relationship" with Wonder Woman. However, Diana claimed that Wonder Woman hated her and that she knew nothing about the Amazon warrior. Ten minutes later, in Steve Trevor's office, he was telling Rora that he, Etta Candy, and Wonder Woman all had mental radios. Later, Diana reprimanded Steve for telling her such information as she believed that Rora could have been an Axis spy. Next, Diana phoned the editor of the Daily Tab and asked them if they had sent Rora Blank to interview them. The editor responded, informing them that Rora was actually with them at the moment and that she claimed that somebody had stolen her identification card. Diana and Steve deduced that "Rora" could actually be suspected Gestapo agent Fausta Grables.

When Diana returned to her apartment, she discovered that her apartment had been ransacked and her radio had been tampered with. She used her mental radio and received a transmission from Etta. Next, she unsuccessfully attempted to contact Steve. Meanwhile, when Steve entered his residence, he was attacked and subdued. Back in Diana's apartment, she received a transmission on her mental radio from Steve, who informed her that he was being held by enemy agents at 1392 Vermont Avenue. Diana rushed to the designated location, freed Steve, and made their way out.

The next day, Fausta Grables appeared before a council of Axis leaders, who were reprimanding her for her failure to defeat Wonder Woman. Fausta convinced the council to give her another chance. Later that night, Diana told Steve over the phone that Wonder Woman would be protecting her that night. Fausta, who overheard their conversation, planned to go to Diana's apartment later, that night. However, the night passed without an attack from Fausta.

The next day, Dian and Steve attended an Army benefit show together. During the show, they saw a performer called a "strong girl." When the strong girl wrestled a bear, the bear ripped off her attire, revealing that of Wonder Woman's underneath. The audience applauded and Wonder Woman issued a challenge to anyone who could not be thrown by her within three minutes. Meanwhile, Diana quickly rushed from her seat and changed into a Wonder Woman outfit. Next, she ran back to the show and challenged the strong girl to a fight. The two women fought and Diana appeared to be the victor until the other woman wrapped a lasso around her ankle, leading to her winning the fight. Afterwards, the two women shook hands with each other, as they were compelled to do so, and went into a dressing room. Next, the woman took Diana to Herr Spader's headquarters, where the council announced that they would take her to Germany on Hitler's orders. Suddenly, Steve, Etta, some soldiers, and some women stormed the house, attacked the Nazis, and freed Wonder Woman.

Synopsis for Green Lantern: "Handsome John Riley"

Detective "Handsome" John Riley charms everyone, including Irene Miller, and plans to quit the force to move to Hollywood. He's tricked by his chief into taking one last case, and is assigned a murder case he'll probably never solve. John is friends with Doiby Dickles, who tries to do his other friend a favor by getting Green Lantern involved in the case. Because if John solves the case, he'll leave for Hollywood and Irene will be unspoken for again. With his superpowers, Green Lantern easily forces the information out of the one link the police have to the murder, and follows the trail back to mobster Big Mike, who the three crimefighters quickly corral.

Just as Handsome John's about to hand in his resignation, it turns out Big Mike was killed in his cell. Green Lantern investigates and finds an etching of a leaf in the floor next to where Big Mike's body fell. He tails a suspicious party, and finds Councilman Leafe is part of a group of other racket bosses, and rounds them all up. Handsome John's about to hand in his resignation again, but is goaded into staying on the force when his chief points out he didn't crack the unsolvable case, Green Lantern did.
