In the mid-1930s, Bret Lawton was a world-traveling detective.
History
Records of his career are sparse, but it is known that he had an adventure in 1937, in Peru in which an expatriate American gangster, Spider Malone (posing as a native Inca pagan priest), was brought to justice.
