Ein, a Pembroke Welsh Corgi

The Pembroke Welsh Corgi is a small breed of herding dog that originated from Pembrokeshire, Wales on Earth. People originally bred Corgis for herding cattle, bulls and other livestock. They are said to evolve from the older Spitz breed.

The Corgi is very common in places like Mars, and is only worth around 2-200 Woolongs.

Appearance[]

The Pembroke Welsh Corgi is low-built with short legs and a long body. They possess upright ears and traditionally-docked tails. Pembrokes are intelligent and active dogs that have an instinct to nip at the heels of larger animals, even humans.

Males of this breed commonly weigh about 27 pounds, or 12 kilograms, whereas females weigh closer to 22 pounds, or 10 kilograms. Dogs can grow to 12 inches, or 30 centimeters, in height at the shoulder and 15 inches, or 38 centimeters, in length. They may become overweight if not kept active.

Colors may vary for this breed. A common coat for the Pembroke Welsh Corgi is red with a white undercoat. Corgis may also range in color from sable or fawn to a tricolor with black or red markings on the head. Their overcoat is short and coarse while the undercoat has softer fur that sheds year-round.
