Review Copy Guidelines
Here’s how to request review copies and advance copies of our books
Our copy review process
If you’re a blogger or vlogger interested in reading our review copies, here’s some helpful information for you.
Who we send our review copies to:
- Bloggers and vloggers with a UK mailing address
- Bloggers and vloggers with a specific interest in the genre of the book
- Bloggers and vloggers with an engaged community
- Bloggers and vloggers who leave regular reviews, and have reviewed recently
We produce a very limited number of review copies, so it isn’t always possible to share these. If you’re a bookseller, please contact HarperInsider or IndieThinking
How you can read review copies:
- Sign up to NetGalley
If you’re happy to read digitally, many of our books are available on NetGalley ahead of publication. We’re more likely to approve your request if you put plenty of information in your profile, including your blog or company name and any links.
- Email the relevant imprint below with the following information:
- A link to your blog
- Visitor and follower stats for your blog and social media channels
- The genres you’re interested in
- Your full UK mailing address
We get a large number of enquiries and we evaluate each one but we’re sorry, we aren’t always able to respond to everyone individually.

Things to note:
- Please don’t send us requests on Twitter or other social media, or via email, unless requested to
- We only have a limited number of early review copies
- We often send out review copies in stages, rather than all at the same time
- If you haven’t got your review copy, it may be that you’re already on the list to get it closer to its publication date
- Proof copies are supplied on a ‘not for resale’ or trade basis and we trust recipients to honour this. Should HarperCollins become aware of a recipient selling or trading on proof copies received from the company, we reserve the right to no longer supply proofs to said recipient
If you’ve moved and would like us to update our records with your new address, please email the relevant imprint with the subject header ‘Change of address’
