Since I have seen about 20 different people using Monchoman45's signature, I thought I would offer an alternative. Mine is not as flashy as his but it is different. Ill include his instruction as well:
- Click "Edit" or "View source code".
- Copy everything on this page.
- Go to your Userpage.
- Add "/Sig2" to the end of the URL in the URL bar.
- Click "Add content to this page" or "Edit".
- Paste what you copied here on that page.
- Look closely in the code you have pasted - wherever you see my name, change it to yours. Note: It may help to press Ctrl+F and type my name in the bar. This will highlight all the places where my name appears.
- Change the Pray to any thing you want. This is the link to the talk page.
- Change the colors if you want.
- Save the page.
- In the URL bar, change "/Sig2" to "/Sig".
- Copy the code on User:Godisme/Sig and paste it in your /Sig page.
- Change my name to yours.
- Go to Special:Preferences. Under the "Signature" heading, enter the following:
{{SUBST:User:Yourname/Sig|{{SUBST:#time: H:i,n/j/Y}}}}
. (Omit the <code> and <nowiki> tags) - Check the "I want to use wikitext in my signature
What are signatures?" box and click save.
- You're done! Now when you sign, always use only three tildes (~~~) unless you want a double timestamp.
- Got questions? Feel free to ask me here!
