Summary
[edit]DescriptionVirmond Park bluff stairs - 52064070748.jpg |
English: Half-finished wooden stairway at Virmond Park in Mequon, Wisconsin.
This wooden stairway is intended to provide access from the top of a 100-foot high bluff, to the Lake Michigan beach. Because of the tall steep bluff along the lakeshore, there is currently no way to safely access the beach / lake at this Ozaukee County Park. Part of the stairway was built several years ago, but construction has been halted for several years, while fundraising continues to try to finish the project. Photo taken September 2021. |
