Description
Deutsch: Das Vater-und-Sohn-Denkmal von Erik Seidel an seinem alten Standort vor der e.o.plauen-Galerie, Bahnhofstraße 36 in Plauen. Seit 2010 befindet es sich vor dem Erich-Ohser-Haus, Nobelstraße 7. Erich Ohser (e. o. plauen), Schöpfer der beiden sehr populären Figuren, starb 1944 im Gefängnis.
English: Memorial sculpture for Erich Ohser 1909-1944 who committed suicide in prison awaiting political trial by the nazis - with death penalty for sure. He was a cartoonist and artist famous for his Vater und Sohn characters and his critical political cartoons. He worked under the name of e.o.plauen. The sculpture is outside the museum dedicated to his work at Bahnhofstr. 36, Plauen in Saxony.
