English: CAMP FALLUJAH, Iraq - A former refugee from Vietnam, Petty Officer 3rd Class John Ung a resident of Rosemead, Calif., joined the Navy to thank his new country, the United States. The reserve Navy Seabee who volunteered for his second tour to Iraq, felt a 'debt of gratitude' to the U.S. The 1993 graduate of Long Beach Jordan High School in Long Beach, Calif., assigned with 30th Naval Construction Regiment, II Marine Expeditionary Force (FWD), is a civilian newspaper photographer in Southern California.
