tal fissure. The subfrontal fissure was independent and sent oflF severalrami into the neighboring gyres. There was a very long radiatefissure. The precentral gyrus was not very broad as compared withthe postcentral gyrus. The three frontal gyres were fairly mas-sive and marked by fissures which ran generally transversely. The postcentral fissural complex consisted of three segments.The dorsal one was very flexuous and ramified, but independent.The middle segment was confluent with the parietal, and wasonly superficially joined to the third segment—the subcentral.The transpostcentral was hardly visible on the external surface,but on examination was found to communicate with the circum-insular fissure. The parietal fissure was notable for the angle it made with theintercerebral cleft, converging rapidly toward it as it passedcaudad. It communicated with the paroccipital fissure over avadum about 6 mm. in depth. Otherwise, the paroccipital did AUTOPSY OF CZOLGOSZ.—E. A. Spitzka. 201
