Deutsch: Eine Fumerole am Mount Redoubt, in Alaska (USA), einen Tag vor dem Ausbruch vom 22. März 2009. Der Vulkan strömt eine mächtige Wolke von Gas und Wasserdampf aus, wobei durch das Schmelzen von Schnee und Eis auf dem Gipfel im Gletschereis typische Rissmuster sichtbar werden.
