Remark: The Metropolitan Museum’s web site has a description here. It gives the date as “ca. 1900 (first half of the 15th century style),” although in the referenced publication from the museum’s 1973/4 Bulletin, it is dated to the first half of the 15th century. The web site suggests no explanation for this difference.
