[edit]DescriptionHolywell near Tobernalt Bay - geograph.org.uk - 241295.jpg |
English: Holywell near Tobernalt Bay. Used by Roman Catholics as a church when the English had banned their church services. Here there are several places with statues of Jesus, Mary and Anne (Mary's mother) where one can light candles and pray. Some also kissed the stone in the middle of the picture. A holly tree had many ribbons hanging from its branches. |
