Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Stern compartment onboard Oberon class submarine HMS Ocelot (launched 5 May 1962). The submarine is now preserved at the Chatham Historic Dockyard museum, Chatham, Kent, UK. As originally constructed Oberon class submarines had two stern torpedoes. These were removed and replaced with additional crew space after wire guided Mark 24 torpedoes were introduced, which meant torpedoes from forward tubes could be steered astern.
