Notes Handle from German bomb, WW1 Donor, 5-80A 2nd Lieut. Sydney Thomas Stidolph, 1NZEF, RFC, RAF, joined the British Section NZEF while in London. He served on Gallipoli and was invalided to Malta and back to New Zealand in October 1915. He later returned to England and joined the RFC, and finally returned to New Zealand aboard the Prinzessin in July 1919.In October 1917, while in England he had married Miss Nellie Richardson. His father Sydney Stidolph served with No. 1 Division of the Armed Constabulary as an NCO in 1869, and served in several Volunteer units.
