Add a one-line explanation of what this file represents
This map of africa image could be re-created using vector graphics as an SVG file. This has several advantages; see Commons:Media for cleanup for more information. If an SVG form of this image is available, please upload it and afterwards replace this template with {{vector version available|new image name}}.

It is recommended to name the SVG file “Africa-regions light colored.svg”—then the template Vector version available (or Vva) does not need the new image name parameter.

Summary

Description
English: This is a recolored map of Africa I found in Wikipedia Commons whose copyright status was completely released. I needed it to be a lighter color for the text to show when overlaid on the map. I plan to use it on a template for the en:White African article to show the distribution of Whites in Africa.--Dark Tichondrias 01:43, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
