English: Name: Petah Tikva, Menachem Begin hiding place Description: Menachem Begin hiding place at Hasidov neighborhood עברית: שם: פתח תקוה, בית המסתור של מנחם בגין תיאור: בית המסתור של מנחם בגין בשכונת חסידוף הערות: בתחילת המרד, 2.1944, עברה משפחת בגין לשכונת חסידוף. בגין, ששמו הוסב לישראל הלפרין, סיפר לשכנים שהם פליטים מפולין ושהוא מתפרנס מסיוע של ארגון פליטים, ובינתיים מתכונן לבחינת עורך דין. כשהתגברו התקפות הארגון על הבריטים, גברו המאמצים לתפיסתם וב-5.9.1944 כותרה את פתח-תקוה, אך הבריטים לא הגיעו לשכונת "חסידוף". 46 לוחמי האצ"ל נעצרו. בעקבות האירוע, עברה משפחת בגין לתל-אביב, רחוב יהושע בן-נון, סמוך לנהר הירקון.
