converted to DR by me from a speedy by User:Hammersoft for "copyvio=No freedom of panorama in the U.S. for 3D works of art". -- Túrelio (talk) 11:37, 2 November 2011 (UTC)
Hammersoft: it would be very helpful if you could link same cases next time, please! I just had done the same as Turelio... but, of course, in a separate Deletion request. Merged now:
This file was tagged {{copyvio|1=No freedom of panorama in the U.S. for 3D works of art}} by Hammersoft at 2011-10-31T14:07:55. Until now no one did delete this image - and I also think this shouldn't be a speedy deletion. There are many exceptions in the US copyright. No FOP for sculptures in the US is true (Commons:FOP#United_States). Saibo (Δ) 02:49, 3 November 2011 (UTC)
- Delete The sculpture is a three dimensional work of art in a public place in the U.S. There's no freedom of panorama in the U.S. for such works, so the photographer can not release the rights of the sculptor. There's no provided proof that the sculpture is public domain via some other vehicle. It might be, but we do not know. Therefore, it's a copyright violation baring presentation of evidence that it is public domain. --Hammersoft (talk) 18:09, 7 November 2011 (UTC)
Info in the en.wikipedia there is the same picture (only a little bit brighter): en:File:Belmont6 1999-05.jpg
