File taken from this, with a license "licenza CC-BY-NC-SA 3.0 IT", which disallowed commercial use A1Cafel (talk) 08:50, 20 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If I remember well, it wasn't taken directly from there but from another news on the government website, where the license is CC-BY 3.0 (as you can see here). -- Nick.mon (talk) 09:09, 20 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
yes I agree w/ Nick.mon--Ozzie10aaaa (talk) 12:16, 20 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
All content published on this Website (text, images, photographs, videos, etc.) is made available under a CC-BY 3.0 licence, unless otherwise stated. I think this falls under the latter scenario, and the CC-BY-NC-SA 3.0 IT statement overrides the site policy. See also Commons:Deletion requests/Files in Category:Giorgia Meloni in 2022. --A1Cafel (talk) 16:40, 20 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
IMHO the policy of Italian government's website is quite absurd, but if I took a photo from an "article" and not from the gallery, the photo falls under CC-BY 3.0. As you can see here, that photo was used in the news section. -- Nick.mon (talk) 16:20, 23 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Such claims were rejected--A1Cafel (talk) 08:35, 1 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Jameslwoodward, your name was invoked by the currently blocked A1Cafel.
I think this may be a different situation, because @Nick.mon has provided a website link where the "legal note" refers to CC-BY 3.0. Will you take a look please?
Also, you had referenced Carl Lindberg's comment. Does he need to take a look? Thank you in advance, -- Ooligan (talk) 22:03, 23 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Keep @Nick.mon. Yes, you are correct it is CC-BY 3.0 as you have written. Here: https://web.archive.org/web/20200223131949/http://www.governo.it/note-legali ("legal note" in Italian)
Quoted from this "legal note" link above:

Nope. This time it falls under the "Unless otherwise indicated" circumstances, and the NC license on the page trumps the site policy IMO. --A1Cafel (talk) 15:17, 30 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
