Description
English: Rich layers of phosphate, both on the surface, as shown on this photo, as well as deep in the ground, are among the most important mineral resources in the Negev. This mineral is being used for agriculture and chemical industry and particularly by the Haifa "Fertilizer" Works, a large chemical concern for the production of artificial manure.
