Penned by the director, the story revolves around Coline Morel, an explorer and expert in the far North. Fired from her job, dumped by her boyfriend and let down by her health, the life of this 46-year-old is unravelling on all fronts. But she who’s known as "The incredible snow woman" is set to attempt a final come-back…
L’incroyable femme des neiges is produced by Frédéric Dubreuil (the director’s faithful accomplice) on behalf of Envie de Tempête Productions, in co-production with Sedna Explore. Pre-purchased by Canal+ and Ciné+, the feature film also enjoys support from the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region, as well as from Procirep and Angoa, and the SOFICA companies Cofimage and Cineventure. Shooting is set to kick off in the Jura region before moving on to Greenland between 8 and 28 April. Distribution in French cinemas falls to KMBO.
