This pendant is made with a coastal stone, either ocean or river. The stone is not tumbled or shaped but is in its natural form, except for the drilled hole. Therefore, the stone/rock will have its natural "imperfections" just as nature made it. This adds character and uniqueness to the piece. They make a perfect gift for rockhounds, yoga\ Zen lovers, surfers or just anyone who loves the beauty of nature. This pendant is gray with unique markings on the front. Then the entire piece is coated with a high gloss shellac to give it a nice sheen and protect the design. Pendant has a metal split ring and hangs on an adjustable wax cotton cord with pull apart clasp. To adjust the length of the cord: 1. pull open the clasp; 2. push knot through clasp end on both sides; 3. tie a new knot at the length you desire; 4. cut excess cord off As with all hand made and painted pieces there is no true "perfection" since it is made by hand and not machine. Therefore, look at photos. In addition, I try to supply photos that depict as close top the natural piece as possible for digital screen, sometimes the actual color can be a either a bit bolder on screen or more bold in actual piece.
