In line with our future-facing vision, we are committed to empowering retail leaders with cutting-edge knowledge and tools to thrive in a rapidly changing retail world. Last week, our three-day "Excelling in the New World of Retail" program, in collaboration with the McGill Executive Institute, was led by academic experts Marie Josee Lamothe, Saibal Ray, and Maxime Cohen and enriched with real-world case studies. It was designed to equip executive participants with the latest insights and skills essential for success in the dynamic retail industry. Key themes explored during the program included: · The Current Retail Landscape: Prof. Marie Josee Lamothe shared insights into the current retail climate, exploring shifts in consumer behaviour and digitalization, with support from guest speakers Bob Cornwall from the Trade Desk and David Beauchemin from Microsoft. · Successful Omni-Channel & Supply Chain Management: Prof. Saibal Ray guided participants through the intricacies of crafting resilient omni-channel strategies and optimizing supply chain management for success in today’s complex markets. · AI Disrupting Retail Practices: Prof. Maxime Cohen delved into how artificial intelligence is transforming retail, with support from guest speaker Alexandre Corbasson from Intégral/Genia.
