Faithful Fox in Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light
The Faithful Fox (あいぼう, Aibou?), also known as Comrade, is a character from Bravely Default, and Bravely Second: End Layer. He is the Adventurer's companion, as they travel around the world.
Appearances[]
Bravely Default[]
The Adventurer and the Faithful Fox (known as "Comrade") appear. The Comrade appears on his own in several places, marked on the map with with a green sign. Like his master, the Comrade serves as a salesman, offering restorative items, equipment, and magic scrolls. Unlike the Adventurer, the equipment is not linked to Norende Village, but is still unique to his shop. Additionally, the Comrade does not serve as a save point. The Comrade also appears on his own in the Grandship after it has taken off; talking to him will allow players to change the party members' names.
Bravely Second: End Layer[]
The Comrade appears on his own in certain dungeons. When spoken to, fully voiced scenes called tent events, occur. After the scene is over, the party is fully healed and the Comrade disappears. After defeating Yōko, he appears outside the Vampire Castle where he sells scrolls for the job level 11 abilities.

The Comrade appears alongside the Adventurer as bosses in Dimension's Hasp.
Bravely Second: End Layer[]
The Comrade and the Adventurer are fought as hidden bosses in Dimension's Cauldron.
