This @huberwood Zip is the air barrier separation between the porch attic and the house attic. Notice the zip went up BEFORE the ceiling framing. They plan to ventilation for this enclosed space by using a soffit vent in two locations. You always want to vent spaces that are enclosed but not air conditioned.
