Comics - Marvel. She Hulk

Marvel began in 1939 by Martin Goodman as Timely Comics. He contracted with book packager Funnies, Inc. to supply material for a test comic book, Marvel Comics dated Oct. 1939 and published by his newly formed Timely Publications. It featured the first appearances of the Human Torch and the Sub-Mariner. By 1951 the brand had become known as Atlas Comics. The Marvel era began in June 1961 with The Fantastic Four and other superhero titles created by Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, Steve Ditko and others.
