Truth Grimoire

The Truth Grimoire (真実の魔道書, Shinjitsu no Madōsho), also known as the Ammit Clearth (真実の魔道書(アメミットクリアース), Amemitto Kuriāsu, Truth Grimoire), is a grimoire in form of a simple hand mirror. It has the ability to show the true form of the one looking at it – however, if someone looks at it too long, they will be dragged into the grimoire.

Information[]

Originally, Ammit Clearth was inside Professor Estella McKenzie’s hidden room found by the Remix Heart team in the Military Academy.^[1] Eventually, they gave back the Professor this grimoire, and then she protected it with a sealing Magic Formula in the staff room.^[2]

The grimoire was taken from that room by Noel Vermillion, who was able to break the restraints from it, to help her friends with their searchings.^[2]

Ammit (“devourer” or “soul eater”) was a female demon in ancient Egyptian religion with a body that was part lion, hippopotamus and crocodile — the three largest “man-eating” animals known to ancient Egyptians. A funerary deity, her titles included “Devourer of the Dead”, “Eater of Hearts”, and ”Great of Death”.
